THE ASSOCIATION IS A SOCIAL PROJECT BY THE CYBORG FOUNDATION AND IT WAS FOUNDED IN 2017 BY CYBORG ARTISTS MANEL MUÑOZ, MOON RIBAS AND NEIL HARBISSON.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
BARCELONA 2018
Call for artists from all disciplines interested in the creation and showcase of projects related to the exploration of any of the following concepts:

The residency will include:
ACCOMMODATION
During
your residency you can live in our studio located in Barcelona city.
The studio has a full equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms.
FREE USE OF STUDIO AND EQUIPMENT
If
needed, you can use the studio space and equipment to create and
showcase your work. If other specific materials/equipments are needed we
might be able to provide them to you too.
TECHNICAL AND ARTISTIC SUPPORT
If
your project needs any technical or artistic support we can connect you
with other members of the Transpecies Society or specialists from
Barcelona.
TUTORIALS & GUIDANCE
You can request specific tutorials or guidance from Moon Ribas, Manel Muñoz or Neil Harbisson if necessary.
PUBLIC VIEWING IN BARCELONA
At
the end of your residency your work will be showcased in the form of an
event, exhibition, concert, performance, or in any other way at the
Transpecies Society studio in Barcelona.
EXPOSURE
Your
residency and final showcase will be announced to local media and
published on various social media platforms as well as included in the
Transpecies Society website.
The duration of the residency should be between 1-4 weeks depending on your project.
